Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: psychology, social work, human services or related counseling field. Currently in or completed Master's program .
- Experience group facilitation, individual counseling
- Excellent time management to meet performance standards of client care.
- Desire to learn, work collaboratively and strong communication skills
- Excellent time management, strong attention to details and comfortable with setting professional boundaries with staff and clients
Preferred
- 2 years of experience working in a treatment setting and knowledge of conducting intakes and assessments
Responsibilities
- Participate in screening and admission of prospective clients.
- Complete evaluations, develop clinically appropriate, client centered, treatment plans.
- Facilitate groups using several different SUD treatment approaches - CBT, MI
- Provide individual therapy and family therapy if appropriate.
- Collaborate with collateral contacts, as applicable for care coordination
- Maintain client records
- Participation in all staff/team meetings.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and 42 CFR at all times
- Ensure a high level of professional and ethical standards
