What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist Engineer-Cold Forming SME and Forge Press Tooling SME position at The Productivity Team?
Our engineering company is supporting a short term project in Mesquite, TX for a military supplier to the US Gov.
This project requires two SME's (Subject Matter Experts) See below.
The project is projected to last 10 weeks but could easily get expanded.
For the SME's, we offer a very competitive hourly wage plus a der diem for hotel/travel/lodging.
Since this client supports the US Gov, candidates need to be US Citizens.
- Cold Forming SME
- 15 years experience forming metal at room temperature
- Experience with bar stock forming
- Experience working with dies
- Can speak to design and machine operation for cold forming equipment
- Forge Press Tooling SME
- Experience with creating designs for Forge Tooling
- Can speak to design and operation of Forge Presses
- Has experience working with Hot Forge Presses
- Can use design software to create prints that could be used to machine forge tooling
