The Manager of Business Development will utilize their expertise in the injection molding and thermoforming industry to catalyze growth in pivotal markets, including medical devices, surgical robotics, automation, and people scanning technologies. A deep understanding of market-specific requirements and industry standards is crucial for recognizing opportunities and delivering tailored solutions that drive market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embody the company's values, vision, and mission.
  • Adhere to the quality policy.
  • Follow safety requirements.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and research potential clients in key markets.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to craft mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee project teams to ensure contract adherence.
  • Collect and analyze useful information from customer and competitor data.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
  • Establish and implement processes and policies to support overall business objectives.
  • Track and identify qualified prospects to enhance the sales pipeline.
  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and report on the status of proposal components.
  • Conduct continuous market research.
  • Collaborate with the pricing department to develop competitive rate proposals.
  • Lead the complete sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts efficiently.

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience.
  • Skills Required :

  • Proficient in Salesforce, including generating custom reports.
  • Proven track record in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of the industry, including equipment, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Competence in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to lead a large team of sales professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and current market trends.
  • Work Environment :

    Remote work is available, with required travel to the company office and manufacturing environments.

    Expected Hours of Work :

    This is a full-time salaried position requiring work from Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.

    Travel :

    Up to 50% travel is expected.
