Janitorial Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM 9 (subject to change)

Supervises day to day janitorial operations. Ensures that quality control measures

are in place to maintain high levels of service. Conducts inspections and maintains equipment. Will be a "working supervisor" role. Responsible for excellent client relations. Position reports to manager or supervisor.

III. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Lead and direct the operations of assigned staff. This includes both regular cleaning operations andspecialty operations.
• Ensures that all employees adhere to all Company rules and policies.
• Assists in building inspections and follows up on cleaners.
• Conducts regulatory and safety awareness training.
• Informs Manager, Supervisor or DM that Corrective disciplinary action or counseling may be required.
• Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
• Maintains daily communication within your account with cleaners to resolve issues or problems. Investigateemployee incidents and accidents and reports them to the supervisor or manager.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

IV. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High School Diploma/GED. Will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements.
• 1 to 2 years experience in janitorial services or other service related field.
• Excellent organizational, customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer experience, emails and Word.
• Ability to multi task.

V. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneeling.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
