What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at The Profit Masters?
The Profit Masters is a leading financial coaching company within the Home Improvement Industry that is looking to add a full time individual to fill our Bookkeeping role at our York, PA location.
Candidate MUST:
- Be proficient and familiar with Quickbooks Online
- Either have a degree in accounting or at least 1 year experience with A/R, A/P, monthly reconciliations, payrolls and job costing
- Have familiarity with Balance sheets and P&Ls
- Be extremely organized
- Have experience with Google Drive and proper email etiquette
- Have experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Have experience having used various CRM company software systems
Roles & Responsiblities:
- Perform transactional bookkeeping tasks using industry accepted accrual accounting methods
- Perform month-end reconciliations, job costing, and P&L publications
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Conduct bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries
