We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Manager to strengthen relationships and growth across key accounts. Account Managers at The Program play a pivotal role, bridging the connection between robust sales performance and effective marketing strategies. This role demands a strong sales mindset, exceptional relationship management skills, and a keen ability to identify and seize growth opportunities. Enthusiastically partnering with a global and iconic footwear, sportswear, and lifestyle brand, a blend of analytical prowess, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of marketing trends are the keys to success. You will work cross-functionally with creative, project management and strategy teams to drive measurable outcomes, foster long-term partnerships, and drive business development across key accounts.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development and Sales

  • Set clear sales objectives and revenue targets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Facilitate persuasive proposals, pitch presentations, and competitive analyses to secure new business.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline by proactively prospecting, qualifying, and engaging potential clients.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts, working collaboratively with internal teams to expand client engagements.


Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to new and existing clients, understanding their business objectives and aligning agency offerings to meet those needs.
  • Oversee account onboarding and integration, positioning for sustained growth before handing off the business to account teams as applicable. 
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with key decision-makers to secure long-term business and repeat revenue.


Project Stewardship

  • Ensure clear briefing and project intake to internal cross-functional teams
  • Reinforce big picture client business objectives and needs to internal teams to ensure work is connected to broader North star
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure successful and timely completion of projects and keep finger on the pulse of client POV, needs, roadblocks and channel key client insights to projects teams to inspire the work


Execution

  • Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes into sales strategies and storytelling.
  • Seamless Cross functional collaboration with strong work ethic 
  • Ability to create presentations in Figma and work with design and copy to finalize and ship
  • Translate new project opportunities into clear SOW’s that reflect the needs and budgets from business development efforts


Experience

  • 4 years of experience in growth, sales, and/or account management
  • Proven track record of identifying, nurturing and converting new business. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • A consultative and client-focused approach with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for relationship building and delivering outstanding client experiences.


Details

  • This is a Portland, Oregon based hybrid position that will spend several days per week in our clients’ Beaverton-area campus and offices and the other days working remotely or in our Portland office. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work
  • The salary band for this role is $70,000-$90,000.
