As an Associate Designer, your role will be to help conceptualize and create engaging consumer journeys, brand assets, toolkits, and decks across multi-tiered brand campaigns. You will be working with design leads, interactive designers, strategists, content creative, and producers, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the entire design process, while gaining a thorough knowledge of partner brand standards and visual centers. You must have a finger on the pulse of brand, technology and usability, style and aesthetic, culture and trends, and a whole host of other interests that inform your ideas and your designs as you become a key contributor to the team throughout the creative process.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining clear lines of communication and keeping a positive attitude
- Contribute to the creation of UX and consumer journeys; strategy thinking should impact your design
- Design with the overall creative ecosystem in mind across digital brand assets, toolkits, and presentation decks for use across a variety of brand campaigns and pitches.
- Remain current on design trends and usability best practices. Explore how motion design can bring creative to life with thoughtful executions.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively as a member of our design team, partnering with creative, strategy, technology, and project management teams.
- Approach work using best practices to deliver quality design.
- Provide recommendations and insight, while remaining positive, open and flexible
- Take accountability with tight deadlines and deliver quick turnarounds and revisions while maintaining high quality work with creative integrity.
- Build, manage, and maintain digital design systems.
- Research, validate, and share information to inform your design decisions.
Qualifications:
- 1.5 year(s) of relevant design experience.
- Strong digital design skills with a demonstrated proficiency across applications like Figma and the Adobe Suite.
- Ability to ensure aesthetic quality and details are consistent across all creative. Strive to be pixel perfect, adhering to and working within brand guidelines and/or established design systems.
- Strong and budding analytical and strategic thinking; you approach your work thoughtfully
- Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and seize the opportunity to make
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback throughout all design phases.
Details
- This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with a minimum of 3 days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other 2 days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. *We are open to fully remote candidates as well on a per case basis.
- The salary band for this role is $45,000-$52,500.
