We are seeking a Creative Strategist to bridge the gap between creativity and strategy, transforming insights into compelling marketing campaigns. This role requires a balance of analytical thinking and imaginative storytelling, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, and content creation. As a Creative Strategist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, copywriters, media planners, and strategists—to develop and execute innovative work that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, analyze consumer trends, and gather data to inform creative decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to create compelling messaging and visual storytelling.
- Ideate and pitch innovative campaign concepts across digital, social, and traditional media channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.
- Monitor ad performance, analyze impact, and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Work closely with clients to ensure alignment on creative direction and performance goals.
- Stay ahead of trends, platforms, and best practices—bringing fresh ideas to every campaign.

Qualifications
- 5 years experience working in highly cross functional teams including creative and technical partners
- A desire to do hard work and celebrate the success that comes with it.
- Deep knowledge of customer awareness stages & the purchase funnel
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to translate data and insights into actionable creative solutions.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell creative ideas to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in a creative strategy, marketing, advertising, or branding role.
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, including paid and organic content strategies.
- Exceptional storytelling and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience building creative briefs and managing projects from ideation to execution.
- Ability to build your own decks in Figma.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reports to
The Creative Strategist role reports directly to the VP of Strategy.
Details
- This is an in-office Portland, Oregon position with a minimum of 3 days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other 2 days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. *We are open to fully remote candidates as well on a per case basis.
- The salary band for this role is $65,000-$80,000.
