POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President is responsible for setting strategy, goals, and objectives for a portfolio of properties. This role is a key leader overseeing overall operations, Regional VPs (RVPs), and Regional Managers. The successful Vice President is committed to balancing the needs of internal and external customers while meeting the goals of the company, owners, and team. You will serve as the primary liaison between the company and its owners and clients, with effective written and interpersonal communication being essential to your success. This role carries the company's culture and objectives through site visits, leadership calls, and communication with RVPs.
An effective Vice President is self-motivated and passionate about their work. You will provide leadership to multiple teams and oversee a portfolio of assets for an established Property Management company, which who comes with high expectations. Every day will push you to think innovatively and act with an ownership mentality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Ensure that RVPs and their direct reports execute the strategy of the owner(s) and the company.Understand and manage complex financial statements, budgets, and P&L to meet performance goals.Oversee financial management and reporting for assigned properties.Ensure successful execution of community performance and standards by the team.Develop, recommend, and enforce company policies and procedures.Conduct interviews and make recommendations for new hires and replacements within the portfolio.Review portfolio performance, identify issues, and implement strategies for improvements.Stay up to date on industry trends and technology for best practices.Oversee required reporting of portfolio performance to management, investors, and stakeholders.Identify new business relationships and collaborate with the sales team.Assist in the due diligence and underwriting of new acquisitions.Provide strategic direction for acquisitions and dispositions of properties.Build and foster relationships with key clients, industry associations, and vendors.Represent the company with owners, vendors, and at team events.Perform other duties as assigned.SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in real estate, management, finance, or a related field or 10 years of multi-location management experience.5-10 years of multifamily, multi-location property management experience, with a preference for CPM certification.Proven success in leading high-visibility or performance-challenged properties.Adaptability to changing priorities and circumstances.Knowledge of local and federal laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws.Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.Successful team leadership and team building experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
