Job Summary:
The Providence Center Medical Assistant, Bilingual will perform routine and higher level administrative tasks to assist physicians, nurses and other clinical staff in effectively accomplishing their medical duties. Maintain cooperative, respectful relationships with Center Staff, local agencies, including pharmacy's consumers and the public.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and distribute patient medications as Directed.
Maintain cooperative, respectful relationships with Center Staff, local agencies, including pharmacy's consumers and the public.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Maintain detailed track of Medication Inventory.
Requirements:
High school diploma and two years experience as a Medical Assistant; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Bilingual in Spanish Prefered.
Must be reliable and able to multitask.
Must present with a positive attitude.
Must be fluent with serving our client populations.
Must have some knowledge in psychiatric medications.
Must possess good typing skills as well as good spelling and grammar.
Excellent communication skills required.
General computer experience also required.
