A top Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida.
Job Description:
State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit

Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
Not accepting new graduate candidates - 2 years' experience as NNP required
Not accepting Locums candidates
NNPs do 12 hour shifts, there is an option for 24 hours based on experience level
NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 a year)
Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter
