Lead, Tech Lead (Software Engineering), The Prudential Insurance Company of America, (Newark, NJ) : Programming across the full stack technologies, understanding the institutional PruForce salesforce instance and managing its capabilities, enabling API and services development with a continued emphasis on test automation. Collaborating with the Solution Architect in defining and executing the technical and architectural strategy for the retirement strategies, with a specialized focus on the structured settlements line of business. Executing the objectives of the team while staying cognizant of the enterprise technical strategy and ensuring net new tech debt is not incurred. Leverage AWS proficiencies and skills. Executing on the Structured Settlements optimization roadmap including migration off of legacy NBS admin system, understanding the FAST application and steering the team towards self-sufficiency, to ably support business feature development across multiple business lines including Structured Settlements, and Pension Risk Transfer. Foster and mentor junior talent with a goal towards their career development and progression.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following :
- API Management;
- Performing API testing, User interface batch process testing, and end-to-end testing.
