GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE) :
The Instructional Technology Specialist will support teachers in designing, implementing and
assessing student-based technology units which promote 21st-century skills and are aligned with
curricula and state standards. The position provides support through planning,
modeling, co-teaching, training, and data analysis across all content areas.
QUALIFICATIONS :
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's Degree
- DESE teaching license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of how to design and implement technology enhanced learning experiences addressing content standards and Digital Literacy Computer Science standards.
- Classroom teaching experience
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and prioritization of work to meet the needs of the users.

Work Environment :
Work is generally performed in a school environment during the school day, however there may be occasions for after school meetings.
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the teacher is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The teacher is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and / or kneel. The teacher is occasionally required to lift and / or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building.
