CONTRIBUTION - THE ROLE YOU PLAY
The Support Staff position plays a crucial role in our restaurant. A successful support staff member aids servers in the prompt delivery and removal of food and beverage items, maintains appropriate supply levels throughout service, and has awareness of the entire restaurant as a whole. A Support Staff member is hospitable and exudes professionalism and positivity. Trust and teamwork are essential characteristics for this role.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strong support to our hosts and servers while providing hospitality to our guests. Maintain running side work. Support the service team by keeping supplies in rotation, clearing, and resetting tables.
Possess awareness and understanding of the most up-to-date knowledge of our food menu, beverage menu, and specials. Ensure timely delivery of food orders. Present food tableside including the name of the dish and key ingredients.
Have the ability to multitask and prioritize. Approach responsibilities with a sense of urgency.
Dedication to exceeding expectations of both Front and Back of House to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided.
Assist with Expediting as needed. Prepare the Expeditor station for service and maintain garnishes.
Oversee ticket times to ensure our guests are receiving food quickly, and that it is beautifully presented and plated according to our standards. Be proficient with our KDS system. Coordinate the movements in the kitchen to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Be aware of your teammates and the entire restaurant. If you see an opportunity to lend a hand, do so graciously. Likewise, accept help and constructive feedback positively.
Effectively communicate with hosts and management over headset.
Contribute to a positive atmosphere and help create a teamwork-oriented work environment.
