Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during peak times.
- Communicate effectively with the wait staff and management to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the menu, reservations, and special events.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional guest relations and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Yelp reservation systems, is desirable but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
