**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to dogs of various breeds and sizes. Your primary duties will include bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs' coats according to owner preferences and breed standards. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized grooming area and ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Bathe, brush, and detangle dogs' coats to maintain cleanliness and prevent matting.

- Trim and style dogs' coats according to breed standards or owner preferences using appropriate grooming tools and techniques.

- Clip nails, clean ears, and perform other grooming tasks as needed to ensure the overall health and hygiene of dogs.

- Assess dogs' coat and skin condition for any abnormalities or health issues and report findings to the owner or veterinarian if necessary.

- Greet clients and consult with them to understand their grooming preferences for their dogs.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' questions and concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming services.

- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including disinfecting grooming tools and equipment after each use.

- Keep detailed records of each dog's grooming history, including services provided and any special instructions from the owner.

- Monitor dogs' behavior during grooming sessions and handle them with care and patience to ensure their comfort and safety.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience working as a Dog Groomer, preferably in a professional grooming salon or pet care facility.

- In-depth knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.

- Proficiency in using grooming tools such as clippers, scissors, brushes, and combs.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming quality and safety.

- Certification or formal training in dog grooming is preferred but not required.

- Physical stamina and agility to stand for long periods and lift heavy dogs when necessary.
