The Purist (which can be found online at www.thepuristonline.com) was launched by veteran editor Cristina Cuomo in May 2017 and has already made quite an impact, receiving acclaim and engaging contributors like Julianne Moore, Jerry Seinfeld and Ariana Huffington. The Purist is a high-quality content publisher with a fully integrated print, digital, social and event marketing strategy which is focused on wellness as the new luxury. Our editorial celebrates NY, Hamptons, LA, Miami, Palm Beach, Aspen, Chicago and Phoenix, as well as other key wellness destinations across the globe.
We are seeking a digitally savvy Account Director to sell print and digital advertising including sponsorships for wellness pop-ups and retreats, podcasts, as well as Instagram lives and reels.
The right candidate should be able to cultivate and develop new business, assume sales and service responsibility for assigned accounts, develop, and implement marketing/advertising solutions and provide exceptional customer service.
As a sales professional you will:
- Identify, evaluate and develop strategies to build new accounts within regions or industries.
- Establish and develop relationships, marketing strategies through consultation with advertisers to help meet their objectives and exceed advertising territory revenue goals.
- Prepare sales proposals and presentations.
- Service accounts ongoing
We are looking for someone:
- Located in the Hamptons NY and/or NYC
- At least 3 years of media sales experience with demonstrated customer service excellence and ability to close the deal.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically, act independently and find solutions to clients’ needs.
You will have the opportunity to maintain a flexible schedule, working remotely with a dispersed team, yet with ample room for growth. Compensation will be competitive and include commissions.
