About the Job :

Qt Group is looking for a Net New Sales Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities and growing the Product Suite within your assigned customer base and a defined territory. This is a land and expand role.

You will connect with decision makers in the C-Suite and Individual Contributors to demonstrate the value of Static Code Analysis (SAST) and Software Architecture Analysis tools. You will help customers solve their development issues and deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales approach. This is a hybrid in-office role in Boston, MA or Birmingham, MI.

You will :

  • Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow Axivion suite into customer base and hunt net new logos
  • Build and maintain strategic long-term relationships with our customers to achieve organic growth and long-term company goals
  • Lead and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract negotiations)
  • Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement
  • Align with business development managers, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our customers
  • Participate in industry events to promote Axivion products and services
  • Travel and present to prospects and clients within assigned territory as needed. ~30% of the time.

About You :

  • 3-5 years of experience selling software development, QA tools, embedded technology, or similar with an emphasis on net new hunting for both logos and upsell / cross-sell within a client base
  • Strong track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into complex accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
  • MEDDIC or MEDDPICC certification / knowledge is a huge plus
  • Beneficial skills :

  • Understanding of software development processes and the common challenges and pain points faced by developers and testers
  • Experience in selling software engineering tools such as code analysis, architecture analysis, requirements engineering, ALM, etc.
  • Knowledge in value-based selling, solution selling, and creating long-term business relationships in the software licensing industry
  • Target-driven and results-focused personality to deliver overachievement against clear objectives and business development targets
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
  • Ability to demonstrate the value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential customers
