About the Job :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will design and implement Qt-based solutions, provide training, and troubleshoot. You will collaborate closely with customers to ensure their success in Qt projects. This is a hybrid in-office position based in Boston, MA or Birmingham, MI.
You will :
Act as a Qt Advisor, collaborating closely with customers to understand and solve their challenges, ensuring the success of their Qt projects.
Communicate directly with customers' development teams, providing expert service and fostering strong technical relationships.
Visit customer sites as needed to offer hands-on support and build in-depth understanding of their projects.
Deliver exceptional technical assistance, helping customers optimize their use of Qt to achieve project goals.
Provide work estimates for new service opportunities
Occasional travel may be required
About You :
5-10 years of software development experience, with expertise in C and embedded technologies. Qt experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of software development process, including CI and testing
Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with resource-constrained devices in the embedded or mobile field
Graphics and video feed development experience (a plus)
Familiarity with agile development principles (an advantage)
Self-driven and able to work independently
Capable of providing on-the-spot technical solutions to customers
Team player willing to engage with Qt employees across the organization
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
