The QTI Group, in partnership with Pro Metal Works, is recruiting a Quality Manager to succeed an upcoming retirement.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for planning and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer requirements, enhancing their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continually improve a documented, customer-compliant quality system aligned with best practices of ISO 9001:2015.
- Develop effective peer-to-peer relationships and serve as a positive resource for employees.
- Oversee quality planning for new product introductions and revisions to existing products.
- Generate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article (FAIR) documentation per customer requirements.
- Manage gauge calibration systems controlling measuring equipment.
- Perform inspections, including 1st piece, in-process, and receiving inspection.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of quality management experience in a metals/ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and tools.
- Ability to move between shop floor and office environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
