The QTI Group has partnered with a manufacturer in Windsor, WI, and is seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager to join their team. The Safety & Compliance Manager maintains safety and health programs across all locations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role oversees safety initiatives, training, and compliance efforts to provide employees and visitors with a safe and secure work environment.
This onsite direct-hire position offers a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with core hours 7:30 am-4:15 pm, (flexible on start/end time). Pay starts at $85k/year, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, EPA, DHS, etc.), including maintaining required programs, training, audits, and documentation.
- Lead and coordinate the Safety Committee and oversee facility safety inspections and corrective actions.
- Manage safety training for new hires and ongoing staff education, including developing curriculum and materials.
- Investigate workplace incidents and hazards, identify root causes, and recommend safety improvements.
- Serve as the primary contact for inspectors, insurance carriers, and other external parties regarding safety audits and compliance.
- Oversee the Workers' Compensation Program, including claim management, return-to-work strategies, and premium reviews.
- Monitor and implement updates to safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Manage safety equipment purchases and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Provide support for the company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related safety codes and regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in training and group presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP) preferred.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification and OSHA trainer credentials are a plus.
