The Quad Preparatory School is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to work with the Operations and People & Culture team to create and maintain a safe and fulfilling workplace for all the staff and to assist with administration.

Responsibilities & Duties:
This job operates on-site in a school setting. The school has two campuses approximately two blocks from each other. The Lower School campus is located on the fourth floor of a building and the Upper School campus is located on the fifth and sixth floors of another building; both buildings have elevators. This role requires working in various locations around the school and occasional travel to/from the campuses.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and involves standing and walking. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items under 20 pounds. During fire drills, the employee, unless physically unable, will need to use the stairs to go to ground level from the upper floors. Typing is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position in an educational facility that is open eight hours a day, 12 months a year. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required; anticipate at least three of these events throughout the year. In general, though, hours are Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Required Education And Experience
This is a full-time, entry-level position.

Job Overview
The Quad Preparatory School is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to work with the Operations and People & Culture team to create and maintain a safe and fulfilling workplace for all the staff and to assist with administration.
Recruitment
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Post & maintain open job positions to our ATS and partner sites
- Review resumes and screen applicants, as needed
- Working closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting season & hiring process
- Register for job fairs to schedule and prepare for job fairs and interviews
- Track contract status
- Email applicants “Next Steps” notice to begin onboarding process
- Distribute, complete, and process paperwork for new hires, including I-9 verification
- Offboard departing employees
- Track contractor hours
- Partner with and oversee PEO to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including maintaining employee records and handling confidential information.
- Coordinate and conduct employee orientation and onboarding.
- Collaborate with PEO to manage benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Support payroll processes and work closely with the staff, PEO, and finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and accounting.
- Oversee leave administration.
- Create and maintain salary banding documents for all positions within the organization.
- Assist in developing salary structures and guidelines for re-contracting existing staff.
- Collaborate with division leadership and supervisory staff to gather necessary information for re-contracting decisions.
- Generate, distribute through DocuSign, and track contracts for returning staff.
- Take ownership of deferred salary factoring and administration.
- Assist staff with benefits related questions (PEO directly administers benefit programs)
- Track staff enrollment to dental/vision/medical benefits
- Assist the Deputy COO and COO with day-to-day tasks
- Update compliance notices in the staff lounges at both campuses
- Update staff calendar (ie, PTO blocked days, holidays, admin time)
- Other duties as assigned
