LEASING CONSULTANT - We are looking for a professional and creative team member to lead our leasing efforts in our properties located in Lake and Sumter County, the Villages area. Starting at $14.00/hr. plus commission, and monthly bonus opportunity. 1 year sales or leasing experience required. . Full Time. Health benefits, paid sick and vacation, and rent discount available. QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

  • 1 Year Sales Experience, High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong professionalism, communication and “people skills”
  • Team oriented with ability to work standard community hours
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creativity and Honesty and Integrity
  • Must possess attention to detail
  • Valid Driver’s License, registration and insurance as required by State of Florida
  • Reliable transportation, attends and participate in Company’s training programs as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Sell property’s products and services to prospects. Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties and competitors. Adhere to RH Management’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Polite and skillful use of telephone to encourage prospects to lease, respond to all telephone requests; consistent and prompt follow through on prospects, applicants, and resident inquiries. Create and maintain ongoing superior customer service. Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
  • Ensure that the Leasing Center is stocked with all pertinent marketing materials and refreshments. Oversee the Service Request Callback Program. Recommend and inventory all move-in, 7 day and renewal gifts.
  • Conduct an area Market Survey each month, review with the Property Manager and send report to Marketing Director along with recommendations. Ensure guest cards are completed and entered and follow up is completed for prospects.
  • Ensure leasing office, tour path, model apartment, vacant apartments, amenities and general curb appeal of community is pleasing to all 5 senses. Assist in placing, removing/updating banners, balloons, bandit signs, A-frame signs, flags etc. and distribute newsletters, pamphlets, flyers etc.
  • Accurately prepare and become knowledgeable with all lease-related paperwork, our ‘Lease Renewal Program’, Resident Retention Programs’ and participate in monthly Resident Activities and newsletter.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Manager and Leasing Staff.
  • Attendance is an essential job function.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • At times, prolonged desk work or walking, in office or outdoors
  • Walking up and down stairs
  • Exposure to weather elements
  • Walking, talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required
  • Stooping, crouching, reaching, and standing occasionally required
  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds occasionally required
  • At times, driving a golf cart on the property, in the rain, cold, or heat
  • Following Company safety standards and using Personal Protective Equipment required
