Camp Counselor

We are getting ready for summer and are looking for some energetic staff to fill Camp Counselor roles!

Under the direction of the Recreation Director, camp counselors provide care to children between the ages of 3 and 12 and supervise activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, educational sessions and field trips.

Responsibilities include:

• Greets all Members and Guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform and ready for the day
• Sets up and cleans camp/recreation facilities.
• Uses creative energy to suggest and run ideal camp activities and special activities through collaboration with the Recreation Coordinator.
• Attends meetings as needed.
• Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined in our Employee Handbook.

This is a great role for high school students looking for meaningful work during the summer. This is a physical position and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, requires balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking and hearing.
