Queen's Medical Center, Manamana, has a rare opportunity for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. This position will work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 5pm - 1am. On call assignments are rotated for after hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Prepares and performs ultrasound examinations on patients. Collaborates with physicians on examinations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology or other approved program as determined by the department; or registered Radiologic Technologist with two (2) years supervised work/training in diagnostic ultrasound.
- Registered by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography. If only registered in one (1) certification upon hire, must obtain the other certification within twenty-four (24) months of entrance into the position.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience relevant to this position.
