About the Job
We are seeking an Internist to join our team at the Paul G. Stevens Outpatient Clinic, providing preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care to patients in a traditional Native Hawaiian community.
Responsibilities
- Provide family medicine services, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care, to patients of the clinic
- Refer patients to and receive patients from appropriate community agencies and resources
- Promote and participate in patient education and rehabilitation
- Cover other clinic physicians as needed
- Maintain after-hours availability by phone based on the posted on-call schedule
- Perform inpatient admissions and discharges for assigned patients
- Comply with organization policies and procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or ECFMG certification
- Board Certified or board qualified in Family Medicine
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii
