Our client is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the daily operations a full-service real estate firm and family office.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute the company’s strategic initiatives and long-term business objectives.
- Define and implement the operational strategy across all business functions, including real estate acquisition, development, property management, leasing, and the family office’s investment services.
- Provide leadership and guidance on operational issues and initiatives, ensuring that objectives are met within set timelines and budgets.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both the real estate firm and family office, ensuring efficient processes and systems are in place.
- Lead the development, execution, and optimization of real estate investments, transactions, and developments, including coordinating with legal, finance, and project management teams.
- Develop and refine operational policies and procedures to streamline business functions and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage the family office’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and portfolio management.
- Oversee financial performance of the real estate portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate with accounting, tax advisors, and legal teams to ensure proper financial management and tax planning for the family office and real estate investments.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across operations, real estate, finance, and administrative functions.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment, ensuring team members are aligned with company goals and values.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff, cultivating leadership talent within the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, family members, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure exceptional service.
- Ensure that family office clients receive top-tier investment and advisory services, managing expectations and resolving issues as they arise.
- Act as a key liaison between the family office, real estate partners, and external stakeholders, including legal, financial, and investment professionals.
- Ensure that all operations and investments comply with relevant regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies across all business functions.
- Oversee property management activities, including the legal and compliance aspects of real estate transactions, asset protection, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, with a strong focus on real estate and/or family office management.
- Proven success in overseeing the operations of a full-service real estate firm or family office, including financial oversight, team leadership, and strategic planning.
- Experience managing real estate portfolios, including acquisitions, leasing, development, and property management.
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial analysis, and risk management in both real estate and family office contexts.
Salary : $200,000 - $275,000
