Primary Responsibilities
The Door Attendant at the 'Quin House champions the experience of members and guests as the first point of contact. They support and collaborate with the Front Office, Rooms Reservations and Housekeeping departments in serving member and guest needs. The Door Attendant is responsible for representing The 'Quin House brand, supporting the department in achieving the operational and financial goals, maintaining the facilities in accordance with The 'Quin House standards, and ensuring high member and guest satisfaction.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
- Provide leadership and instill a culture and work environment based upon respect, providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow and develop their abilities through training of employees, creating a positive, productive working environment
- Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The 'Quin House
- Opening door upon Member and Guest arrival and departure
- Assisting with and storing luggage for Members and Guests
- Responsible for keeping the front service areas neat and clean, and sweeping the front walk of debris and/or shoveling snow
- Remain posted at designated areas in view of arriving and departing Members, ready to assist as needed.
- Assist in loading and unloading arriving and departing vehicles as needed
- Able to communicate effectively via phone and in person
- Work collaboratively with valet services ensuring a seamless member experience
- Occasionally assist the valet in moving or parking guest cars if needed
- Assume functions of other Club roles as necessary
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
- Assume additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or any manager of The 'Quin that are reasonable requests
