Overview
We are seeking an entry level Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with lead installer to get the work completed while ensuring high-quality installations. You will start off working with the lead installer until they are confident in your ability to work on your own. As an Installer, you will be responsible for helping the lead installer with installation of radon mitigation systems and ensuring they meet safety standards, customer satisfaction and company guidelines. You will be provided on the job training and will be required to pass national radon proficiency exam and get licensed for radon in the State of Iowa. All training will be provided. This person will also have the ability to move up and take over the responsibility’s of the lead installer after all training and licensing is completed.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the lead installer and do work as assigned.
- Perform installations of products according to specifications and guidelines.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an heavy drilling equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed products to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the installation process.
- Respect homeowner's property and leave your work area cleaner than it was when you arrived.
- Ability to work in many different environments. Hot, cold, noisy, etc.
Experience
- Previous experience in installation or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with using power tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Have general knowledge of tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
