Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and sinks.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Help with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area during service hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes to support food service operations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
