The Raleigh House, a nationally recognized mental health, trauma recovery, and substance abuse treatment provider is growing! We are opening a new 24 bed intensive behavioral health residential program at our DTC location and seeking an experienced Clinical Director. This role is an exciting opportunity for clinical leadership and program development for an organization focused on clinical excellence and providing a high quality, life changing client experience.


Position Summary:

The Clinical Director for this higher acuity short term stabilization residential program is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day clinical operations, including clinical service delivery systems, milieu dynamics; staff development and management; quality of care; interdepartmental staff training and oversight for clinical interventions, treatment planning and documentation in compliance with Raleigh House policies and our governing agency regulations. The Clinical Director is an essential leader and representative of The Raleigh House for both internal and external partners, a conduit of organizational information and culture; and maintains professionalism in behavior, communication, and role-modeling. The role is responsible for collaborating across multiple departments to ensure smooth operations, quality, and compliance.


Essential Functions

Leadership

  • Support and always prioritize / maintain a healthy, safe, and positive working environment which is respectful of staff and clients and is free from bias/discrimination, harassment, disrespect, and unprofessionalism
  • Provide staff and clients with information about protocols in the event of complaints or concerns about programming, resources, or other issues, as needed
  • Represent Raleigh House’s mission, values, philosophy, and goals among staff and clients, and communicate this culture to staff and ensure values are demonstrated
  • Maintain adherence to Raleigh Houses ethics and standards, compliance with regulations and the operational policies and procedures that govern Raleigh House’s activities and services
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate challenges, prioritize, proactively plan, and generalize information and systems for the efficient operation of the organization
  • Act as a communication liaison to coordinate services and systems across departments, resolve issues, and make recommendations, maintaining communication both up and down the hierarchy
  • At all times, represent The Raleigh House of Hope in a professional and courteous manner
  • Support and effectively communicate Raleigh House’s decisions and processes by providing clear and professional communication and assisting staff to understand or resolve concerns
  • Participate in activities designed to increase staff and client retention and satisfaction
  • Engagement with the staff this position oversees, as needed for justifications, reviews and questions


Hiring and Performance Management

  • Partner with Human Resources in talent acquisition, interviewing, identification of top candidates
  • Manage new employee training, including core competencies, BHA/JC required training, and skills assessment for ongoing professional development of new staff
  • Monitors and ensures documentation of on-going core competencies and other training for all staff, including Joint Commission and BHA required training. Arranges or delegate arrangements for standard training opportunities
  • Convene weekly group clinical supervision including administration, case conceptualization, training, and professional development. Maintains documentation/notes for each meeting
  • Provide weekly individual supervision (clinical and administrative) for all assigned clinical staff. Document every event.
  • Communicate organizational, regulatory, and policy information in an effective and professional manner, translating content to create relevance and operationalized application
  • Communicate the needs, challenges, and strengths of clinical staff to the Executive leadership team, as needed. Advocates for changes and resources. Reports on quality, timeliness, and performance
  • Audits clinical and relevant staff in order to ensure assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, EMR data, and other documentation is completed within timelines. Ensures quality, accuracy, completeness
  • Provides feedback to staff and monitors remediation follow-up as requested by chart checks, QA medical record reviews; provides supervisory follow-up / progressive discipline on non-compliance
  • Maintain direct knowledge of staff performance, attendance, and issues and intervenes in a timely manner to remediate deficits


Required Qualifications

  • Active Colorado licensed LPC, LCSW or LMFT
  • 3 years clinical leadership experience within treatment facilities and/or working with mental health, trauma and/or substance use challenges
  • Masters’ Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • EMR experience


Compensation: $105,000-$115,000
