Role Overview
The Content Developer will be a creative and technical powerhouse, responsible for creating and executing engaging content across multiple platforms. This role involves producing high-quality assets for social media, websites, animations, and video content, as well as conducting on-location photo and video shoots, and editing the content. You’ll work closely with other team members to support client projects, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Development
- Social Media Content: Design and produce visually appealing and engaging content, including graphics, short-form videos, carousels, and animations, tailored to each platform's unique requirements.
- Website Content: Develop website visuals and multimedia elements, such as banners, infographics, and animations, to enhance the user experience.
- Video & Animation: Create and edit video content, including promotional videos, short clips, and animations, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar apps/software.
- Photo/Video Shoots: Plan, coordinate, and execute photo and video shoots at client locations, capturing assets that align with campaign strategies.
- Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for its intended platform, adhering to best practices for resolution, file size, and format.
Collaboration & Client Support
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, designers, and strategists to understand project goals and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Client Interaction: Occasionally engage with clients during content planning, shoots, and project reviews, representing The Rally Company in a professional and creative capacity.
- Cross-Department Support: Assist other team members by providing content for presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
Project Management
- Content Planning: Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of assets for campaigns and projects.
- Workflow Coordination: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Location Travel: Travel to client sites to capture on-location content as needed, sometimes requiring flexibility in scheduling.
Creative Strategy & Innovation
- Content Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest content creation trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to client projects.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines, campaign goals, and target audience preferences.
- Innovation: Propose new content concepts and formats that can elevate client campaigns and drive engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, multimedia, communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in content creation, graphic design, video production, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign).
- Experience with content creation tools/platforms- Adobe CC, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant software.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for content development and optimization. Strong, engaging writing is a must.
- Will conduct and direct photo or video shoots- including lighting, framing, and post-production editing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
