Kennel Technician

Duties:
- Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Administer medications as directed by owner
- Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment

Skills:
- Dog handling: Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Kennel: Knowledge of kennel procedures and best practices for animal care
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as bags of food or crates
- Customer service: Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
-Knowledge of basic dog training techniques and ability to work with dogs on basic commands
- Pet grooming: Familiarity with pet grooming techniques, such as brushing and nail trimming (expierence not required)
- Animal handling: Ability to handle various types of animals safely and with compassion
- Animal care: Knowledge of general animal care practices, including feeding, watering, and cleaning
