Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server and/or Bartender to join our team. The Ranch Club restaurant is a private golf course with a public that restaurant that serves members and the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a strong understanding of beverage service. They will also have excellent communication skills and a desire to make every guest feel like family. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Provide a friendly atmosphere where every guests feels at home.
- Serve tables and follow The Ranch Club sequence of service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and guest service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- A background in hospitality or food preparation will be beneficial in providing comprehensive service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
