Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care, with the ability to work effectively in various settings including home care and primary care environments. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality nursing services to patients of all ages, particularly those with developmental disabilities and geriatric needs.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Completing and tracking referrals.
- Wound Care as needed.
- Assistance with in-office procedures.
- Conduct assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history as needed.
- Medication Refills.
- Patient Phone Calls.
- Surgery Scheduling.
- Surgery Prior Authorization.
- Ability to complete FMLA and Medication Assistance paperwork.
- Miscellaneous office duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Licensure .
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience working in a clinical setting.
