The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Production Technican for a Contract to Hire role in the Dallas / Ft Worth area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.
Job Responsibilities :
Integrate and install satellite communications earth stations
Install, test, and maintain amplifiers, modems, fiber optics, and related equipment
Operate and conduct RF testing on antennas ranging from 1m to 4m
Repair and maintain customer terminals
Provide technical support for sales demonstrations
Conduct operational training for customers
Follow all process control procedures and work instructions
Adhere to all safety rules and company policies
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform general cleanup duties as needed
Job Requirements :
3 years of field or military experience, or a diploma / AA degree in electronics or satellite communications
Advanced knowledge of RF and satellite communications
Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, power meters, sweepers, signal generators, and related equipment
VSAT / MFTDMA experience
Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Minimal travel required, both nationally and internationally
