The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer for a Contract role with a large Medical Device client located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. All work will be completed 100% onsite and the project has an expected duration of 6-9 months but could go longer.
Position Summary:
Candidate will be a member of a cross functional team that identifies, implements and verifies changes to the design of products. Familiarity with design inputs, engineering drawings and specifications, risk management, verification, validation, and design output and transfer required.

Update 3D model/drawings as per the instruction from client.

- Solidworks Design Experience
- Medical device background
- Risk Management - Applies basic Risk Management principles to work.
- Design Control / Documentation & Change Control. Provides supporting information for change including reasons and justifications.
- Knowledge of FDA Part 820/ISO 13485 Quality System
- Knowledge of ISO 14971
