The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Production Technician for a Contract to Hire role in the Dallas area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate and install satellite communications earth stations
- Install, test, and maintain amplifiers, modems, fiber optics, and related equipment
- Operate and conduct RF testing on antennas ranging from 1m to 4m
- Repair and maintain customer terminals
- Provide technical support for sales demonstrations
- Conduct operational training for customers
- Follow all process control procedures and work instructions
- Adhere to all safety rules and company policies
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform general cleanup duties as needed
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of field or military experience, or a diploma/AA degree in electronics or satellite communications
- Advanced knowledge of RF and satellite communications
- Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, power meters, sweepers, signal generators, and related equipment
- VSAT/MFTDMA experience
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Minimal travel required, both nationally and internationally
- Must be a U.S. citizen
