The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a Direct Hire role with a leading Aerospace & Defense Contractor in the Dallas Area . This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite.
The primary roles for this position are to : Participate in satellite systems design, engineering support services, training activities, and take direction from a senior level engineer or manager; participate in delivering engineering services including design, testing, troubleshooting and analysis; work alongside peers to drive innovative program and solutions; and complete engineering projects in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.
Job Duties :
- Provide engineering support to customers, sales and operations for satellite communications, including testing, system design, troubleshooting, documenting solutions and applying principles of electrical, physics and material science
- Assure system and product quality by designing test methods, testing finished product and system capabilities, and confirming assembly and installation processes
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Troubleshoot design or fabrication problems with electrical and electromechanical systems, identify root cause of problems, and develop and implement creative and pragmatic solutions
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
- Produce technically sound designs which meet contract requirements, good engineering practices and solve the customer's needs and / or problems
- Maintain awareness of current state-of-the-art technologies and trends in electrical engineering and suggest product improvement ideas
- Travel may be required as needed, including both domestic and international
- Provide high level technical support to customers and other departments
- Provide training to employees and customers
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested
