What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at The Rasmussen Group Inc?
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the recruiting process, from start to finish, for open positions company wide. This individual will also be responsible for connecting with candidates, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Work closely with the recruiting supervisor, HR team and hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process.
- Conduct full cycle recruiting for multiple companies.
- Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they have signed their offer letter.
- Source, identify, screen and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals.
- Assist in the hiring process from beginning to end with internal groups to assure a smooth hiring process.
- Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews, and in-person meetings).
- Maintain ATS, referral program, job postings, and job descriptions.
- Review resumes, conduct prescreens and arrange interviews.
- Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer.
- Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.
- Manage and document hiring requirements, candidate evaluations, interview process, and hiring decision.
- Process employee and potential employee requests and queries in a timely manner.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- One to three years experience in recruitment highly preferred; but not required.
- Experience in a construction environment preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
- Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and accurately perform basic mathematical functions including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
- Ability to analyze issues independently.
- Ability to perform under deadline pressure.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess knowledge of Company policies and procedures, including safety.
- Must consistently produce efficient, accurate work product.
Work Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years in age or older.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Must pass post-offer employment drug testing, medical exams, motor vehicle report, background check, and physical agilities testing.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and/or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA.
