Front Desk Receptionist
We are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as our company’s front desk receptionist. In this position, you will greet guests entering the building and help direct them where they need to go. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering and managing the phones.
Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. During training, 8am - 5pm.
Setting: Professional office environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when a visitor has arrived.
- Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system.
- Manage the building log of who is entering and exiting the building.
- Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients
- Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; displays professional behavior at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent, professional dress and manner
- Good time management skills
- Able to contribute positivity as part of a team
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications or related software
Physical Requirements
- Frequently remains in sitting position for long periods of time to perform duties.
- Frequently concentrates for long periods of time, paying close attention to detail.
- Frequently uses and views the computer using fingers, hands, and vision.
- Frequently works in a well-lit, tempered environment.
- Occasionally moves through office to communicate with other employees
- Occasionally may need to lift file boxes up to 40lbs.
