About the position:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Co-Op who is a creative, energetic problem solver with good communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will have a basis of supply chain management coursework completed and a desire to put those skills to work on real world problems and solutions in a cross-functional team environment. You can expect to complete this assignment to be better prepared as an entry-level supply chain resources with experience specific to supplier development and supply chain management.
As a Supply Chain Co-Op you will:
- Evaluate information to drive continuous improvement throughout the value chain
- Correlate data that will deliver sourcing strategies to control the Company's purchased material costs and to assure an adequate and appropriate source of supply.
- Support and manage supplier performance ratings for QCDM metrics.
- Apply leading edge and progressive supply chain techniques to optimize supplier interface to the product development process in support of business goals and objectives.
- Lead projects within the Corporate Procurement organization that deliver short- and long-term business needs.
- Provide supply chain systems support that may include SAP, JD Edwards, Ariba, or other Microsoft tools.
About the schedule:
This position is first shift and will work Monday – Friday.
About you:
- Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Supply Chain or related field.
- GPA 3.0 or above.
- Available May – December 2025 or August – December 2025.
- Basics of Supply Chain Management courses completed with the desire to use those skills on real world problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Effective project management skills and confident leadership attitude and style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a diverse group of individual contributors and leadership team members.
It would be great if you had:
- SAP and SAP Ariba experience.
- Effective negotiating skills and desire to strive for “win-win” results.
- Strong presentation skills – comfortable presenting to a diverse audience including senior management.
- Successful problem-solving skills with curiosity to work outside the norm and try new solutions.
About the total compensation package:
Wages: $20.50 $28.00 per hour. Compensation commensurate with academic program and year.
