Job Description:
To provide Public Relations and social media support for the Kravis Center organization as well as for the events and performances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Public Relations:
- Assist with writing, editing, and proofing press releases, media advisories and other publicity materials.
- Assist in developing and executing PR strategies that promote the Kravis Center’s programming, raise its profile, and drive ticket sales.
- Attend and assist with Kravis Center events as needed, including pre-show events, opening nights, and other special promotions. (Sandy Tree, Block Party, etc.)
Social Media:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that increase the Kravis Center’s online presence and engagement with key audiences.
- Manage and curate the Kravis Center’s social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) by creating content, responding to comments, and monitoring metrics.
- Develop and execute paid social media campaigns, including setting budgets and targeting criteria by working with Marketing Directors.
- Identify and stay current on emerging social media trends and platforms, and fashion strategies accordingly.
- Assist in monitoring social media coverage of the Kravis Center and creating reports tracking social media reach and trends.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure social media messaging aligns with broader organizational communications and goals.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proficiency in Office 365, which includes SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
- Experience with Meta, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube a must
- Adobe experience is preferred
- Experience with curating, maintaining and analyzing social media campaigns for an organization with the ability to handle a high volume of content
- Strong organizational skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills; detail-oriented; able to function in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Meta Certification
- Be a team player who can multi-task, organize and prioritize while maintaining a positive attitude; work a flexible schedule as needed
