Calling all barbers, apprentices, and recent graduates! We are a brand new barbershop in Opelika Alabama urgently looking for Class 1 or Class 2 barbers. Anyone with haircutting experience will be considered. The ideal candidate would be someone who is flexible and would like to help a new shop get on it's feet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring that all sanitation and safety protocols are followed.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair cutting and styling services, including traditional cuts, fades, and beard trims.
• Utilize straight razors for precise shaving and detailing.
• Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products that meet clients' needs, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the barbershop environment.
• Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and grooming techniques, including hair threading and eyelash extensions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of hair styling techniques and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with retail sales practices and basic retail math concepts.
• Ability to perform advanced techniques such as straight razor shaves, hair threading, and eyelash extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
