**This is a 10 week internship from 6/2/2025 - 8/8/2025.**
Fine Jewelry & Watch (FJW) Interns will join our team at The RealReal, participating in its daily life. You’ll attend huddles, team all-hands, learn to use our state-of-the-art tools, and learn about the work that goes into authenticating luxury goods. The first few weeks of your internship will be ramping up and tackling smaller tasks - after which you will tackle a signature project. These projects are appropriately scoped, will provide meaningful business value, and will be presented to senior executives at the end of your internship. At the end of your time at The RealReal, you’ll walk away with valuable experience working in an organization at scale - and a feature you can be proud of!

The expected hourly rate for this role is 21-21. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.

What You Get To Do Every Day
- Learn and apply the foundational practices of jewelry authentication and various technologies
- Support Fine Jewelry Specialists by hands-on use of equipment such as Raman spectrometer to analyze gem material, carat weight estimation device (CWED) for calculating carat weight and XRF machine to analyze metals, jewelry materials and gems
- Develop proposals for best practices/new applications for devices in the context of TRR
- Conduct research for best practices of technology across jewelry industry
- Organize and maintain internal database of company owned training materials
- Collect and report data in partnership with the Jewelry Authentication team to provide detailed feedback and findings
What You Bring To The Role
- Full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date after December 2025
- Results-oriented self-starter able to multitask and prioritize workload
- Detail oriented and organized
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of Google Suite (or experience in MS Office suite)
- Interest in the authentication of luxury goods in the resale industry
- Knowledge of fine jewelry brands and pieces
