The Recovery Center, located in Wichita Falls, TX, has served clients from throughout the state of Texas as well as Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico for over 15 years. We believe that treatment held in a setting that is similar to home increases our clients’ chances for maintaining recovery after leaving the facility. Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational/practical nursing program.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications, and CPR certification and successful completion of Handle With Care (HWC) including restraint and seclusion policies within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Position Summary:
The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Chief Nursing Officer in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders, administering medications, and other duties in the LVN scope of practice.
