The Recovery Project is an outpatient rehabilitation facility that has a little over 100 employees ranging from clinicians (PT, OT, SLP etc.) to administrative staff. The mission of The Recovery Project is to maximize patient outcomes by providing the highest quality customer service and also to inspire every individual that comes through its doors with our evidence-based and compassionate care.
Although this role of HR Generalist does not have direct interaction with the patients, their role is key in the support of the clinicians who do. It is our goal to contribute to the success of the organization by making sure the staff is supported and taken care of.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist reports to the HR Director and will play a key role in the HR department by supporting various HR functions and initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices to contribute to the overall success of the organization. The HR department is comprised of the Director and the Generalist/Assistant and together we interface regularly with the administrative team, the managers and leads.
Duties
- Run payroll once every two weeks
- Maintain employee files with utmost integrity
- Assist HR Director in year end reporting (ACA & W-2)
- Assist HR Director in managing employee leaves
- Execute employment verifications for employees
- Oversees company performance review process
- Oversee benefits open enrollment
- Participate in talent acquisition processes, including recruitment and onboarding
- Implement talent management strategies to enhance employee development
- Collect and analyze HR data for reporting and decision-making purposes
- Assist in human capital management initiatives
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts within the HR department
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on diverse HR functions
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
