Physician Services Coordinator

Overview of the Physician Services Coordinator - Medical Assistant role at Advanced Recovery Systems.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Roswell, GA. At Recovery Village Atlanta, we provide a comprehensive continuum of care for individuals struggling with addiction. Our facility offers medical detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare services.
The ideal candidate will assist physicians and medical staff with day-to-day scheduling, electronic medical records, compliance auditing, and patient lab data management. They will work closely with the facility leadership team to ensure the success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review overnight/weekend emails for medical provider triage
• Assist with maintaining data reports from Power BI
• Schedule daily Physician and Nurse Practitioner visits
• Maintain data reports on facility medical metrics
• Assist case manager with patients' Leave of Absence and Short-Term Disability paperwork
• Be cross-trained as a Behavioral Health Technician for emergencies
• Assist in orienting new medical staff
• Maintain the physician handbook

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
• Minimum one year in a healthcare setting
• Medical Assistant (MA) preferred
