Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Therapeutic Activities Coordinator to join our team in Kansas City. This part-time opportunity allows you to utilize your skillset and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
The ideal candidate will work 2 weekdays (12pm-8pm) and 1 weekend day (12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm), with flexibility on specific days of the week.

Our levels of care include Medical Detox, Inpatient/Residential SUD & MH Rehab, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and Aftercare Planning.
Job Description
As a Therapeutic Activities Coordinator, you will plan, direct, and coordinate approved activity programs for patients in treatment.
You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating community-based activities for patients in PHP and IOP levels of care.
- Evaluate inventory of supplies and ensure they are provided on-site.
- Counsel and encourage patients to develop leisure activities.
- Evaluate engagement and effectiveness of activities provided with the assistance of the Clinical Director.
- Maintain positive relationships with all staff.
- Maintain healthy boundaries with patients and staff.
- Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for all staff and patients.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities and contribute to the success of the organization.
- Pursue professional development through participation in education and training programs.
- Contribute positively to the morale of other staff members.
