Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to contribute to our culinary team at The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake. As a key member of our food service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, food regulation compliance, and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas as assigned by the Food Service Director.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining room, and food storage areas.
- Conduct daily temperature checks for refrigerators and freezers.
- Properly utilize cleaning agents and equipment in food preparation and storage areas.
- Remove trash and refuse from kitchen, dining room, and food storage areas.
- Inventories food service items and supplies as directed.
- Work safely and cooperatively with other team members.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Residential healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Food Certification Certificate as required by state, ServSave preferred.
- Proficiency in food preparation, regulation compliance, and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
